Singing for the Brain sessions are held alternate Thursdays from Memory Cafe, are very well attended. The sessions are run by the Alzheimer’s Society every other Thursday and they continue to offer a friendly fun environment where the power of music can work its magic! Full list of dates below.
Singing for the Brain celebrated their 15th anniversary in February 2024 and a special cake was made by Nikki Sperring of the Cake Room to mark the occasion.
Singing for the Brain is an innovative project carefully designed by the Alzheimer’s Society to stimulate and enhance the lives of people with dementia and their carers.
The group often get together at local events to raise awareness - photos are of the group performing at the 'Steampunk' Weekend in Minehead's Blenheim Gardens.
